I read this quite quickly. The story is rather weak and his characterization of the wife is annoying. The story takes too long to get going and then it's half-over. It is not extremely satisfying or interesting, and doesn't really make too much sense. I recommend Saberhagen's Empire of the East or perhaps some of his other (many) books.Product details

This book it one of my top ten sci-fi books of all time. The story was great and once I started reading it, I didn't want to put it down.
This is a must read for any sci-fi buff...
